"Their gifts will recall your past life" means the offerings you give to increase your power. When you offer those items at the altars, they actually appear in the far shore by the prison. In fact when you offer those things, a menu appears asking you "Risk an offering to the Heir?" I took the time to translate most of the ghost foxes, they have some really interesting things to say, most things are rather mundane though. One of them sits in front of the abandoned store saying he used to run it, but laments that people would just steal his stuff all the time. (Like you did.) I like that the heir's old save is literally a prison.

Definitely don't want Anything spoils. After the crazy, surreal twist where the lady in the prison attacked, I got so excited, I was so dumbfounded, and amazed. Amazing game! Going to just learn the language myself and then finish playing through, so I don't get anything spoiled. Then I'll do a deep dive into all the back story and bonuses. Very intrigued by the mention of "multiple endings."

Lost Echo “An Echo-Of-Self from a past ruin seeker whos (owner?) gave up.” as in a previous ruin seeker who failed to release his/her Echo-Of-Self. Really cool!

This game goes dangerously close to the Christian religion what with all the references to it and literally having something called the holy cross and a jesus on a cross reference which i fear some could be offended by with ppl with other beliefs while there is some other religions involve i see more Christianity in it Mayhaps even the opposite one that being cultish side like what we see in the cathedral

Other than the word "cross" there is basically no similarities whatsoever. The "Holy Cross" of Tunic isn't even vaguely similar to the Crucifix.

I wish i were smart enough to actually translate and do most of the end game arg puzzles the manual is so vague being able translate it would have been helpful for me but understand why I can’t just read it cuz A spoilers B some puzzle answers

Btw the thing on the cross is actually the one of the things you see in the ziggurat specifically the one you see in the cathedral and later fight in the monistary as the trial for the heroes grave

@@LukandLok You mention Tunic having an incredible ending: I agree, but for me nothing will ever beat Outer Wilds (personal taste ofc). It's actually because I love OW so much that I saw Tunic recommended to awaken some of that same feeling of exploration and "Wait I could do that all along?". You might just enjoy it!

I personally think having to find game manual pages dumb & not being able to read any signs or popups dumb . Puzzles great. Having to translate glyphs fine, if part of a given puzzle. I love this game. But, I'm not going to translate. Just keep fumbling around like I am. Bulk of it is easy enough & obvious. My son wouldn't figure it out.
