TUNING Begins on my BMW M140i! Was it Stock?

So we loaded a Stage 1 base tune onto the M140i, safe to say it really wakes these things up. This is still early stages for the car so expect A LOT of videos coming up. Make sure you're Subscribed!

Had my M140i just over a year, and had it mapped at a BMW tuning specialist. The engine pulls very strongly now, and you can tell there is so much more to gain with a sports cat downpipe, upgraded fuel pump, and injectors. It surprises a lot of much more expensive machinery, and that is the best thing for me, simply because it's a 20 grand car that competes with 50-60 grand cars.

Any issues with oil starvation heard horror stories on the m135i

@@thebomber5028 Only oil starvation issues I have heard about with the M135i RWD and the M140i are from a couple of track cars which got the oil starvation issue due to heavy cornering, not heard of any issues on road cars matey. Mine had been trouble free, after running 455bhp/634nm with a Wagner 200 cell cat for over a year, and I rag it every weekend.

Bro did you try the secret exhaust mode allready? You need to put you car in neutral and hold esp button for 5 seconds so it is dynamic, with that u get some loud pops. Just write on youtube “m140i secret exhaust mode” Nice channel bro i am subt since yesterday!!

Stage 1 you can get easily 400-430bhp and still get 35-40mpg on eco pro on motorways and 28-32mpg on local roads, best of both worlds in the car game... one of the best all rounders

Yeah stage 1 transforms the car. I wasn't sure about the benefit of XHP on a 2018 car to be honest. Can't be good for the gearbox imo

I've driven both. Nothing to be confused about M140i is another animal. However, the I30N had great sounds/pops and bangs. But the M140i will just draw you once you drive it.

The b58 engine is a masterpiece it has forged parts from stock and can handle 550 bhp without a sweat , many people running 700 bhp without any problems , big boost in America have seen 1000 bhp from them 😲

Could be set to match rear so car won't throw up faults or it doesn't need to be put in dyno mode. When speeds don't match, the traction control will activate.

Go mhd mate! U can customise so much with it, I use it for flashing and changing stuff, defo worth the money! U can add launch control, turn on or off the pops bangs, connect it to your head unit so u can have live data, awesome piece of kit!

@@shabaazallaboutstayingbles4260 I’m N54 was on stage 2+ as car is full Bolton with hybrid stage 2 turbos, just download the app for your iPhone and buy the wireless adapter from ML performance here in the uk or u can get it from burger motorsport, u can just use your phone if it’s android and get the cables to connect it to your car, I used a tablet to begin with n now use the wireless obd connector as it works great! I’m now custom tuned as the off the shelf maps aren’t suited to my car due to hybrids! I can still change everything though and data log!
