I love my ez green press. Bought the $200 LCA Draw board for my press. Perfect fit. Was excited the first four uses were perfect, however, in the fifth use to check an adjustment it pulled back smooth. Clicks were normal. In the return halfway back BOOM and the arrow pushed forward and my weight scale from LCA slammed into my QAD rest. Thankfully my bow and rest survived. Always have an arrow in these LCA Draw boards. The cable broke from inside the great box. I am going back to the home made one I have. I just cannot trust this again even with a new replacement. The build quality is good but the cable sucks. My bow is only 66 LBS draw weight. I got a bad one. But with a $2000 investment in my bow a draw board needs to be robust.

Why does my bow not draw vertical like yours does? As I draw back on the draw board, the top pulls back more than the bottom, it's not a level draw.

Can you share that light weight Ryobi bench set up? How you mount the press to the bench etc. Looking for a solution. Thank you for all the tips.

Can you put the crank on the left side for most bows it’s easier to check timing looking at the right side of the bow with it mounted on the left side like in the video it’s harder to see especially if your press is mounted in a way that you can’t get behind it

Trail, Would you please comment on the stand that you seem to have your bow press attached to? Great video on using the draw board. FredSG

It's a Ryobi Miter Saw stand. Pretty much any stand like that would work great to attach your press to, then you could use small pieces of aluminum or something to attach it too. This is Brady's stand and he likes it mounted this way as he can move it to a different room, or even take it to the range if he really wanted to tinker. If you have any other questions, please reach out. Thanks for watching and best of luck this season!

@@GOHUNT how does it mount to the miter stand? Is that stable enough for the draw board as well?

A saw horse works as well! Just saw a video of someone making one. Cheaper than a miter saw stand and you don’t really need it that big.

Great Job 👌 Trail, you do such a good job of explaining and giving us the information on what ever video your making. Thank you so much. Gods Blessings to all of your adventures. Ps Trail did you ever do a video on the proper way to measure your draw length??

I don't know that we have done a video, perhaps we will! We have done some articles that addresses finding draw length. Draw length is one of those things that's a tiny bit subjective. When I say proper draw length, I would suggest starting with one of the methods outlined in the articles we have done and then start fine tuning from there. Ultimately, draw length is all about what gives each individual the most repeatable anchor, aim, and accuracy. You can do some string/cable twisting and testing to tweak that slightly and find the best fit for you. That's what's great about having a press and draw board, you can find the draw length that yields the best hold, aim, and accuracy and you can repeat that any time you buy a new bow or replace your strings. It's a really handy tool to have!
