Turbo suits these way better than a 2ZZ if your 1ZZ isn't fucked. I have an original TTE Turbo which was about 195bhp. Takes my friends 2ZZ conversion to school . Besides the bhp it makes about 50-60lbs more torque .

Question, why did you have the fan blowing INTO the radiator? you need to extract the heat, not force it back in! Yes, it sounds stupid, but this is a rear engine car. The radiator fan pushes the air outwards towards the rear! fan should have been placed in one of the side gills that channels air to the fan shroud. Love the project either way, good job!

So around 217WHP @ 7psi? I'm guessing that's the Monkeywrench kit with the log style manifold and 2.5" pipes? How many miles on your motor and is it stock? I've been eyeballing this kit and the other one with the tubular manifold, V band clamps and 3" pipes. Hope your clutch is upgraded too. Looking good. Take care of it.

you start a project like this you might as well as rebuild the 2zz with beefier internals then get a turbo kit plus ecu + tuning it and work out like 100 kinks then you might as well invest in a stage 2 or 3 clutch kit ect easily spending 15k on parts + find someone to do the labor installing it and/ find the time to do it yourself and then after all that if you live in california hope it passes smog.... after months of frustration is this worth it?

Ummm dude its called crank hp. The car makes 138 hp at the crank stock. So at the wheels its less because drive loss. 100 hp to the wheels. So that 217 hp to the wheels is like 257 hp at the crank !
