Tuning My TSX w/Hondata

It’s fairly annoying that there isn’t more bolt on parts for these. Basically you gotta swap to a k20 head which is really more work than it’s worth. My wife was mentioning how maybe making what we have a bit faster is wiser than buying a new car, but I dunno. 😅

I know man, we can't even buy poly motor mounts for these things 😭. I was also told too to just buy another car if I want to go faster, but the cu2 is just more practical and too nice of a car to just get rid of. I think I'm just gonna make this car go faster though.

Did you do much more with flashpro? Considering it for my cu2 as I prefer to be able to tweak things myself rather than constantly gave to return to a tuner..

Not really, I just adjusted my rev limiters, turned off the governor and minimized my rev hang. I didn't touch anything else because I still don't know that much about tuning yet.

I plan on getting my TSX dyno-tuned within the next few months using Hondata. How was the drive hang and low end-torque like once you tuned it? All I have for engine mods is a K&N short ram intake and a Greddy catback.

Rev hang was not that noticable anymore, felt like I was driving an old car in terms of shifting. Didn't feel no power difference for me as I never got an actual dyno tune and don't have any bolt ons yet.

@jtworksoncars6341 how does the Acura sounds with the catback and the short ram. I heard without getting a dyno tuned there is a difference. I only plan on doing those 3 modifications.

@@eduardoreyes6467 I have a couple videos on my channel about it. It sounds really good. Deep tone and no drone in the highway. There is slight drone at 2100 rpm.

I think they have another flashpro unit for that engine. I saw on their website that they had a specific one for Honda accord 2008- 2010 non-US models. Should be cheaper than my flashpro.
