Makes me wonder... If there is no replacement for displacement, why are more and more car makers getting these great hp per liter numbers out of smaller engines, but American car makers keep with the bigger is better in all aspects

Well, that's technically not a massive motor at "only 6.2L" i mean, that's big but with modern electronics, cam control, and fuel strategies they are surprisingly fuel efficient (for a 700hp monster) at 22mpg highway. That's only 8mpg less than the Challenger gt which has over 400 less horsepower.

There is still no replacement for displacement. Technology enhances displacement. When you get more HP on a smaller engine through technology, it is amplified on a larger engine because the hp/l is multiplicative by l.

Great content ! So if I want to do a 93 Tune for my 19’ Redeye can I just buy an unlocked PCM & Plug & Play or do I still need a Tuner ? Also how much does it normally cost to go through a Tuner like yourself ? Thanks !!

You'll need some sort of device to reflash the ecu. Either a handheld tuner like diablosport or a cable style like hptuners.

I just did upper pully injectors on 2018 hellcat PCM unlocked with HP tuners GREENbelt Etc did a few runs 1-6 and now my car wont shift past 4th gear??

Sounds like you've hit some limiter or torque adapts are getting in the way. Did you have it tuned for the pully increase?

That doesnt work with warranty. The dealership gets a code when you swap pcm..
