Btw you carry a motorcycle cover with you when long distance touring?!? That takes a lot of extra space
@FARANDFURTHER2 жыл бұрын
No, it’s not a motorcycle cover. I have a military tarp which I use as bike cover and a base for my tent so it won’t get damaged. Or as a rain shelter with bungee cords. Super useful, light and strapped top on the Mosko duffel.
@sayuas42932 жыл бұрын
@@FARANDFURTHER Nice, where did you get the military tarp?
@FARANDFURTHER2 жыл бұрын
@@sayuas4293 it is nothing really special it’s the cheap plastic one. It looks like a cloth but from plastic I think there is better view on the packing video.

How do you deal with soft luggage when you need to leave behind your motorcycle for a few hours or when you go to a supermarket or something? Seems prone to stealing unless you are always taking it with you everywhere. I thought I kinda need hard lockable luggage for trips.
@FARANDFURTHER2 жыл бұрын
Depends where I am but the luggage always stays on the bike. I have all important things in one bag and if I need to, I take that with me. Nobody will steal the luggage, maybe they open and take something from it (never happened to me) or something hanging off but those things are usually replaplable.

When I ride to italy I'm never staying in a hotel in a city without protected parking. Probably just camp along the TET anyway
@FARANDFURTHER2 жыл бұрын
Yea, I just needed to wait for the ferry and do the paperwork. Secure parking for sure next time.

@@FARANDFURTHER You are lucky they didnt just grab your bike and put it in the back of a van
@slavenjotanovic27812 жыл бұрын
hahaha welcome to Italy man. you can ride the whole world without problems but as soon as you land in southern Italy you're screwed. you were lucky they took only the mirrors by the way
@FARANDFURTHER2 жыл бұрын
That is so interesting, I never knew that the south Italy is so bad... ;) Also like you people are more on the note... "stop complaining about mirror and start celebrating you still have a bike" :)))
@andrea_weekenduae60582 жыл бұрын
Damn sorry for the mirrors, these scum bags give a bad impression of Italy. Do you have a video of the drone mount setup (before this was also stolen) as I would like something similar for my T7?
@FARANDFURTHER2 жыл бұрын
I only have a short video on the Instagram so far: instagram.com/tv/CZXnxeql_HY Bastards stole it before I could talk about it in Sahara! 😂🤦🏻♂️

I find Italy super stressful and now avoid where I can. It’s ok when things are going ok, but as soon as you have a problem?
@FARANDFURTHER2 жыл бұрын
It's great when you don't really have to deal with a lot of people or officials in Italy, then it's amazing. Small villages are cool, big cities, not really but that's everywhere.

I may continue with the theme for rest of 2022 which will probably reflect the never changing absurdity of it all...
