Hi Ellen, thanks for the tutorial. It’s a gorgeous stitch pattern. I have yet to try Tunisian crochet, but am saving the tutorial for future reference. Having said that, I may just decide to try knitting the equivalent in the meantime, as I haven’t even got any Tunisian hooks yet! We shall see…. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for this excellent tutorial. I like the way you started by teaching how to read the yarn to understand what comes next. I’m a huge yarn reader, and rarely use patterns or instructions beyond the first few rows. When new Tunisian crocheters ask what to do if you forget what row you’re on, I always advise learning to read the yarn in the previous row or two and you can find your place. This is stitch may not be new to me, but you’ve taught it best. I also enjoyed the appearances of your furry assistants. They are lovely.

Love this stitch pattern, and thinking of using it for a throw (maybe increase simple stitches in between eyelets). You're video is very clear. Watched a few times and still have one question. It seems like in row 2 you only do one TSD at the end, and also only do one TSD only at the beginning of the row further along in the pattern. Is it because it's the end of the rows? Thanks!

Beautiful! I have the book. However, it so much easier to watch it in video format. Thanks! Question, can this stitch be done in the round?
@EllenGormleyCrochet Жыл бұрын
Yes, and there are a few methods, none of which I absolutely love. The one that is most fun to do leaves a visible seam.

Wow, this stitch is soo, soo pretty. I really like this stitch, but the curling is a pain. I love, love, love Tunisian crochet.
