I could listen and watch you crochet all day long. Today's "ah ha" moment came when you explained the 2 row repeat of the Tunisian crochet full stitch; off setting the beginning (and ending) stitch so that you don't make an increase. I don't know why it took me so long to understand, but you're explanation and me watching you do it was what did it. Thank you for sharing this delightful project. I'm starting one asap.

Thank you, this video clarified some of the problems I've been having. I'm going to redo a bag I just finished using this method of the bottom and of joining the sides at the end. I always try to find one of your videos for learning Tunisian crochet as your voice is clear, loud enough, and pleasant to listen to. Your instructions are easy to follow.

Hi Toni, I am giving this a try right now as I am an extreme beginner with Tunisian crochet. I made a year or so ago your Tunisian earwarmers and that was fun and addictive.. I've just completed my second row of the Tunisian on this bag and the only issue (which is a learning curve) is keeping the stitches pushed up enough to the front of the hook so it's not hard to do the stitches. I am also so used to holding the hook when crocheting so holding the hook with yarn over is a challenge butttt, this is very easy to do it's just a learning curve for me. I am using Bernat Home Maker yarn as it was all I had. Thank you for your well thought out and explained instructions on the beginner girl Tunisian crochet. Thank you

Lol when I first start learning how to do the magic circle (ring) I can't, then I did it like that but I thought that it was wrong became it still had the knot in it and you had to do it a certain way. This way is much easier. I love the bag. It's a must try for me. Thanks for sharing.

Just finished my bucket bag. Your tutorial gave me the confidence to go for the Tunisian crochet. Your instructions were very good but I could have used a bit more help on seaming the Tunisian crochet part of the bag. I used a variegated yarn and the seam really stands out. I’m not sure if my technique was lacking or if a solid color would have made the seam less obvious. I still think the bag came out pretty good and may take another crack at it. Thanks for the tutorial!

Toni, I love everything about your channel. I started crocheting at the beginning of the pandemic. I had a little experience with granny squares in my youth but otherwise was new to all the different stitches and patterns. I'm still very much a novice, but I love all the reviews you do. I'm venturing outside of Joanns and Michael's for my yarn now and I even bought a Tunisian hook and am going to do a pillow with the honeycomb stitch! Wish we lived closer. I know we'd be friends. ;-)

I’m thinking that you’re thinking of making this a dice bag. If you had small enough hooks for maybe a 1 or 2 weight yarn it could work?

You can work the base to whatever diameter you want, then begin working the sides to what we height you want. You’ll have to play around with the placement of the drawstring holes though

Are there a couple of basic Tunisian crochet hooks I could get to just get started without spending a lot of money on a whole kit of them. I am interested in making a bag like this and also the Sweet Gingham Baby Blanket without having to get a whole , expensive set in case I don't find it fun (doubtful) or something I would use enough to justify the expense. I would appreciate any advice you have for someone just starting Tunisian Crochet. Thank You Gale

This may sound like a ridiculous question but what's the best way to hold the Tunesian hook. Regular crochet hooks I hold in the pencil form which is not possible with such a long hook. Not to be that annoying person who "suggests" video ideas, but please do more yarn reviews like the lion brand one. It is really helpful and really comforting to watch (especially with your manner of talking). Maybe try reviewing "ice yarns" or aunt lydias?? Idk.
