I am so glad I ran across your videos. Haven't crocheted in 30 years and now with arthritis it's slow going. Your videos have been amazing, you do a wonderful job explaining and demonstrating the stitches, I had never seen Tunisian before though I had heard of it. Already made my niece an ear warmer. Again, thank you so much for doing these!

On the 5th square. This blanket is so much fun! I purchased the pattern...so worth the $9.50! I print out each pattern to follow as I stream Christmas movies and go to my happy place and crochet! Thanks Toni. You're a genius. 🤗

You know the moment when you just want to crochet but are unsure of something, so you put Toni's video to check how to do it? And your kind of annoyed because you don't want to see the whole video, you just want to know answer to your question? But then Toni starts talking, throwing her wisdom at you, and you know you're going to watch that video because it is interesting and full of information. That's me right now 😅

That is a really nice project! I started crocheting 40 years ago, by learning it from my gramma. She did all kinds of needlecrafts, including Tunisian crochet and broomstick lace. I was the lucky(and the only one that liked fiber arts) one and inherited everything crafty. I still use her hooks, books, needles, row-counters, etc. Anyway I lent a friend of mine my Tunisian crochet pattern books and hooks and she never returned them, so I lost interest in Tunisian crochet. But, I'm glad I stumbled across your channel today and you put a smile on my face(I need it badly, as we lost my hubby's mom a couple of days ago, she was a great MIL), and I love the stuff you do, so, I'm subbing! OT, I LOVE your hair! Peace

I've never done a blanket with squares before because I've been intimidated by assembly, both joining all the squares and making a nice boarder, but I decided to try the #holidaytcal2020 anyway. I'm about to start the assembly and this video is so amazingly clear and instructive that I'm now confident that I can do it. Thank you so much! I'm going to use these techniques for another blanket I've been wanting to try for a while now, too!

Bee-yoo-tea-fool sampler afghan! Lol. I will do this in the future, it's on my bucket list. However holiday season is just too busy with other WIPs and planned holiday projects to add another, (especially one of such ample size). I make a promise to myself to make it during 2021. Happy crocheting everyone!

I can't wait to start this cal. I am doing another one for beginners first. You mentioned your magic number is 35. Can you explain how you got that number, please? I am assuming it is an average or mean of your blocks stitch counts as you designed them. I would love to use your technique instead of just weaving my blocks together Willy nilly as seems the other person does. I used your videos of how to do various stitches and techniques as I was making her blocks. While her videos are good yours are better: lighting, speed (you're slower) and thoroughness of the explanations are all much better. I wish I had seen your Cal before starting this one, but it was great practice. Now to get it together in a pleasing manner.

Hi, Thanks so much for this pattern and your very instructional and helpful videos. I have made 8 of the squares so far and I am very happy with the idea of the border to make the joining easier and of the stirch markers..I hadn't tbought of that. I have been making the borders as I make the squares before fastening off. So far my borders have been either color C or D. Is that okay? Since I see you are making your border after you bound/fastened off. Thanks.
