I was having real trouble making a scarf for my mom with a rather chunky yarn (recommended hook 6). Whatever stitches I tried it just looked wrong somehow, but this stitch on a size 8 hook looks gorgeous and really does justice to the softness of the yarn. Thanks for the excellent tutorial!

Hi ‘Alex’ Thank you for sharing this stitch 😊-it’s lovely. Could you please show us a formula for increasing & decreasing in the stitch? There has to be a formula that could be applied to a varity of stitches shown on the tutorials by everyone but we never get taught how to do incs & decs! After a covid booster I haven’t been able to work out many things. I think this stitch would be great for a capelet?! But it needs a bit of shaping here & there… Or could one do it horizontally with short rows somehow.J&🦜🦜
