I bought a ticket fully understanding this, but honestly I bought a ticket not to win the boat but because I like you and want to support what you are doing 🙂 I wish you the very best whatever the outcome 💜

Be kind to yourself May. You have organized your raffle for all the right reasons. Honesty is in your heart. Well done for recording your tunnel breakdown . Your pre tunnel footage is like the calm before the storm of the tunnel issue and your mood unknowingly sensing something. The boating community came to your rescue, lovely to see and hear. It doesn't matters what you doing this life there's always somebody going to find fault with it. May your the most open and honest person I know. And I would you trust you with key to my narrowboat boat anytime. On a more lighter note, days like the one you had can be immensely rewarding and a learning experience, (the canal boating world is full of wonderful people) but when you there it can hard to see any of that. My hope is that you can more days of brave and courageous May. And if you see this Rob and Helen thank you so much for helping May

May, take care wearing a dry robe on water. The type of fleece they use absorbs water (to dry you) and becomes incredibly heavy if you fall in. Strangely the recommendation is not to wear one near water!

Not on the London canals and that would f the Lea and Stort.. I’ve never met a bunch of selfish boaters ever… Leave gates and paddles open and don’t care for other than themselves.. I can’t wait to get out of here and head north

You need a ten foot by two inch by eight inch scaffold board. Feed it underneath the grab rails then lay on the board and leg it along the walls. That's how my great grandparents used to do it before boats had engines when there was no tow path for the horse. You can either walk the wall or the tunnel roof. You will be VERY surprised with just how fast you can make your boat go. 🇬🇧👍😎👍🇬🇧

And also when we went threw tunnel a canalboat owner broke down and we had to tow him out with our holiday boat . And I loved that container boat myself , x

I haven't brought a ticket because I already have my boat/home. But I don't understand why people make somebody feel bad for raffling their own boat. I think it's so mean to make you feel so crap about doing this process which I think is exciting whatever the outcome you are not trying to steal or deceive anyone. Make sure you stay true to yourself and look after yourself.❤

I was happy to buy tickets as a tiny way to support you on your interesting journey. I have never won anything of value, so I don't see it as gambling (which I also disapprove of) and I won't have to worry about having a 62' narrowboat parked on my front drive 🤣 Good luck with your quest.

You have shown the good and bad about your boat. You’re not scamming anyone. People have a choice to buy a ticket or not and hopefully the intelligence to know what the consequences would be. The sales on these raffles normal increase in the last few days so it’s very likely that the boat will go. Stay safe, warm and dry.

You have absolutely NOTHING to feel responsible or guilty for. People make their own choices in life. They should only gamble as much as they can afford to loose. Some may only be able to afford one ticket, it's their responsibility to ONLY BUY ONE TICKET. As the old saying goes:- You pays your money, you takes your chance. I think the whole “raffle” thing is just a bit misleading. It’s illegal to have a raffle for personal gain or without a license. But apparently Raffall isn’t a raffle it’s a “prize competition” which is different. It just all seems a bit sketchy as a premise. It helps to have some explanation around the ticketing though. I presume that if a cash prize gets paid out then May doesn’t financially benefit?

Look at the positive aspect... I had a go and if I only win 25k it's still not a bad day out for a fiver.... ignor the negative comments... turn them into a positive at least they watch your channel 😂
