9:37:59 BTW, she does this bc of 2 things, one bc she let Mark win on purpose because she was lonely. Since that was the same day Mark ditched her, she wanted to give Mark the win to make him wanna keep playing together. And 2, which is my personal interpretation; she did this as a way to show how she's left behind. All the other racers (including the player) all speed off, leaving her behind. She struggles to go in the correct direction because she doesn't know how to get out of her own struggles. She's all alone in last place, watching as everyone gets to the finish- their purpose, their goal all while she doesn't know what hers is. When the car eventually stops, it signals her death, the car stops moving, her heart stopped beating. And how ironic bc she died in the car accident. (Cathy best girl I love her sm)

I love your own interpretation on it. I think your personal interpretation is the symbolism behind what happened at the moment as a whole, rather than what is intended by Cathy though. But you really opened my mind there with this. Nice take! And I agree, Cathy best girl, love her!

Cathy made me cry more than any anime. I love her. The best character or maybe 2nd best in this series after mark. Dunno Nicole. Didn't like her at beginning but grew upon last a bit ig. But I skipped most piano classes . Didn't find them interesting

I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard in my life at Cathy’s backstory. She just wanted to be something special in her life. I realized the reason why Cathy was running in the rain by herself was because she wanted to run like Mark and Ridel. Just wanting to run *free*, with love and passion. But since her parents stopped her, and now that she’s…gone, shes now unable to do that. Something about her wanting to just run without regrets alongside Mark and Ridel just struck a cord in me. There's a ton of endings too, and your decisions in one run of the game effect the next. This game really is fucking amazing and deserves the praise it's getting. Its really one of a kind. I think theres a true ending that you get after all getting all of them but I'm not too sure since I'm only on my second playthrough.

Just a quick note since we're in "BER" months now, Christmas Caroling is not exclusive to Filipino Culture. Yes, singing Christmas carols to your neighbors didn't originate in the PH. We have a long history with it though, and as a pinoy, it was a big part of our childhood. Caroling originated in Europe, mainly in the UK at their Victorian Era. But it actually started in the Ancient Roman times, though it's not connected to Christmas back then when they were doing their own "carols." To add to that, the word carol was derived from the French word "caroler" which means "to dance in a circle" and the Romans used carols to celebrate different seasons and festivals.

This is me before watching Until Then: Ahh finally the wait is over... I've been reading comments and your own take on how good this is till it became your fav next to Omori. I'll edit this comment after I finish this! Edit [Spoiler obviously] . . . This is me after watching Until Then (first part): I am back after watching this part until the end and first of all, THIS HURTS MY HEART BRO. And of course the ending is so confusing but then again WOAH THE WAY WE'RE BACK TO THE START? THIS GAME IS CRAZY FOR THIS. I'd like to just point out how the game is BEAUTIFUL and the aesthetic??? SO COOL!!! The details, the little motion and the way their expressions changes all the time, those little details satisfied me to the core, which also made me not look away from the gameplay, don't wanna miss anything y'know! I know the finale is not out yet but I want to give my opinion on the whole game and what I take from it. First, it gives me enlightment about many things; from appreciating those around you, to not take things for granted and understanding others' lives in which we get to experience and see a lot from this game; victims of natural disasters, missing flight (reminds me of MH370, an aircraft that went missing from my country, rest in peace) and still have yet to be found (heavily went through it in this game cs of the MC), experiencing loved ones who have gone (friends, family members, personally my mother has passed too when I was young), last abusive parents (from Cath's life). Geez, I could really go on and on. Slice of life game is really slicing life frfr. Second and most importantly, this game has showed a lot of fragile moments and povs and that even when life seems so, so messed up, one day, you can still find a spark. Maybe, that's what makes you human y'know, your body kinda move to find one too. Like a moth that is attracted to light, we too yearn for the same thing amidst the darkness, sadness that we go through. Lastly, life will always be easier when you share your burdens with others, just how the characters always have their friends at their backs, making the Mark & Cathy duo to be so endearing really. Despite hiding each other's pain, they still lift each other up bcs that's just how friends should be and if you think you are alone, you never actually are. I myself am a believer of burdens are less heavier when you let others help you and be there for you. That is also why I always try my best to be there for those who are at lost or simply need a friend to listen to their problems and just be there for them. I love how in the end, Cathy finally realised that. Even though she didn't get to experience what comes after she opened up, but I think we all can agree that it must be a relief and as if a weight has lifted once she become honest and decided to do that. It's inspiring cs it's not easy to do so. Mannn, I can make a whole essay about this game lol. Anyways, I love this game as well, really thank you game devs! I am a fellow neighbouring country, much love for y'all. Final say, I'm REALLY looking forward for the finale and I hope we'll get a happier ending hehe.

Stuff I wanted to say: notice how everyone had a photo of their future achievements, but when Cathy talks about her own, it goes black :((( The way at the end, it shows the car racing game, it does mean that she was letting Mark win(obvious) but at the end, when it shows the leaderboard, theres the thing where Mark is first, and Cathy is last, showing how Cathy was "out" or necessarily dead. The clear gap between them shows how far apart they are now, as one is in the sky and one is on land. I also would like to believe that this is a way to show how there is a clear gap between everyone and her in their accomplishments and achievements. Everyone knows what they want, what they want to achieve, but Cathy doesn't know.

(BIG SPOILERS) Made me really sad when we get to know in their reality nothing went as they wanted everything gets destroyed. Mark trying to save everyone, trying to save cathy but ultimately not succeeding and in the end everything gets erased. All hopes and dreams crushed just like that... What a twisted ending man fuck. SN: its only in an other reality cathy survies and everyone seems to be happy.
