Tupac - Dear Mama (Remix Version) [Feat. Anthony Hamilton]

Coming off the Posthumous album "Pacs Life" producer Frank Nitty took the hit single "Dear Mama" and made some acoustic changes to its production. Adding R&B artist Anthony Hamilton to the chorus this is the songs official remix. The song is a touching tribute to Shakurs mother, Afeni Shakur. He praises and acknowledges all of her efforts as a single mother despite her past mistakes and their povern and domestic state. Its a beautiful song. I think its a very fitting remix. This is a bonus track to what most called a disappointing posthumous album. Copyrights owned by Interscope Records (2006).

Whenever I think I'm losing my shi** I think of my DEAR MAMA! She pushed me to do good in school. Went to college. Joined the Army, retired. Now working a six figure salary. I paid my mommas house of and pay her bills. She can now quit her job after 40 years as a dental assistant because her baby boy has his own family and is STILL paying her bills out. I lost my mom💔, I can’t cope guys.. I am dead inside. I cry daily, I really can’t cope. I drink a lot to sleep and to try and forget her. She left me unemployed and the things I’ve been trying to do for years have been failing. No girlfriend, no baby, just me and my sister who no longer lives in our home since she’s married. I feel so empty, I depended on her a lot. She passed away while I was holding her hand, she took her last breath when I was holding her hand. I wiped my tears using her hand after she stopped breathing, it’s been a full month now but I don’t think I’ll cope moving forward. I’m so heartbroken 💔 it will take time to heal.
