Turbo 1JZ Toyota MKII JZX100 Throws Down! | The JDM Drift Misfit

Welcome back! Today we’re driving Jackson’s modified Toyota Mkii that’s been imported from Japan to spend the rest of its life here in North America. It’s an example of a very low-mileage (under 50,000kms at the time it landed) drift chassis that began as an automatic, N/A car but was swapped with a 1JZ-GTE and an R154 manual transmission. Haha yeah, a lot of dirt gets thrown at the lens while filming the chase shots. Usually we don't realize it's there until reviewing the footage afterwards 😛

This guy has no fucking clue, all Cresta. Mark II and Chaser are all the same with different body panels. No difference, just different styling. At the time Toyota could afford to style 3 different models of the chassis. They're all JZX100's or X100's
