Turbo Beaver Takeoff and Landing at True North Outposts

Just came across a turbo beaver forsale out of Florida totally overhauled and restored brand new P&W Turbine engine, Wipline amphib floats, overhauled adjustable pitch prop, new avionics, 2 years on the exterior paint, all for 1.67 million. so theres your priceout. I would def. have one of these If I had the money. sick takeoff by the way!

massive headwind? looking at the slight ripple on the water I'd guess 6-8 mph. that isn't much of a headwind. turbo beavers are awesome airplanes.

an exceptionally new powerplant makes this one a short takeoff and landing distance, able to reach areas others cannot.

It could do the same with the old radial. It was famous for being overpowered for it's small airframe.

Its Turbine not Turbo. Turbine is about 750HP and burns 50+ gallons of JetA per hour. The turbo is a piston engine...

It’s officially called a turbo beaver by the manufacturer because it’s powered by a turboprop.
