Update! I went on it I was really nervous but I had so much fun on it! I loved it! It was a little rickety, and I'm not sure about other people's experiences, but it really didn't hurt much at all! Just some little bumps on the ears. So everyone reading this, it doesn't hurt as much as some people make it seem! :)

Went on this ride yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. What I do have to say is that you don't feel completely safe as the safety bar does keep moving up and down and it's difficult to find where you should position your arms and your ears keep hanging from side to side, but overall, it's brilliant

The only ones I don't film are the one that say filmed or filmed and edited by Andrew (Anton) Marshall at the end, the reason for this is a lot of our early trips, Anton would use the video camera while I would just photograph the rides and some of the really early USA films, 95 and 96, I didn't actually go on. Hope this answers your question. :-)

I'm travelling around the world and I'm going to Brighton (and the pier) not long from now. Would you recommend this ride for me safety and intensity wise? (I'm 13 and I love rollercoasters)

I don't know if you've gone there yet but I'll tell you this: I went on that ride today and it is fun...that being said, you will probably obtain a few bruises as it jolts you very fast. Also, if you're planning on going on a lot of rides, I'd recommend you buy a wristband for £20 that entitles you to go on as many rides as you want for free.

+flames1000000 that's exactly what I did! I did end up going on it twice, I loved it. The first time the jolting was almost non existent, but the second time there was quite a lot of jolting. I would've gone on it more but my sister banged her ear pretty hard, and she didn't want to go on it again. We did get the £20 wristband to go on everything, and my sister and I cleared every ride I think! Not my brother because he's a scaredy cat, and we didn't clear the horror hotel because it was closed. Thanks for your comment though!

I've never been on this, but I've been on an upside down coaster (Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park), however, this ride just doesn't look that comfortable. The dip at the bottom of the first drop seems too tight. Like you're going down, but then when you go back up, it looks like you'd get whiplash.

I didn't really like this one as when it stoped the bar came up and the brake threw me forward and I hit my throat on it and a bit of a head ache after but still not bad considering its on a pier

I believe it's four tokens per person. One token costs around £4 I think. You could check on the Brighton Pier website.
