Turbo LS here we come

Picking up the motor for the new build. This update includes a short drive to the junkyard to pick up an L33 LS from a 2006 Silverado. The engine will be broken down, cleaned up, cammed, ring gapped, turbo'd and installed in the next Exotruck build.

It would need to be a new design but same basic shape

4l80 unless I hit the lotto soon. Would like a 6 speed but with my power goals, it'll get expensive

Yes. With high power goals you will need something strong behind it for sure. I was going to suggest a BMW ZF from a E46 as a good budget option. But it’s only good for around 500 ft lbs of TQ. Looking forward to see how the build turns out! Cheers!

So it’s an LQ not an LS because it’s an iron block

Aluminum block. But it's a L33, the LS was a 6.0 iirc
