@ It was one of the NPC cars from the 1986 OutRun. Like the truck and the old Corvette.

I guess the real victory was the cars she pushed off cliffs or caused to flip on the way, including the race car in number 2 slot.

@@stainlesssteelfox1 Maybe, although I managed to get from last place to 1st with a (modified) road car against the pinnacle of motorsport that was in front from the start. That's an achievement on its own. 😉

It's getting better all the time (..We have a Beatles theme here, I guess :D ). Say, I know it's a lot of work, but could you add another set of levels that resemble the game OutRunners? That was the pinnacle of the super scaler tech and your game should easily be able to replicate that. I'd love to see that. Another question: How long do you think it will take you to get near completition? I am with the German video game press and I played with the Idea of a review or at least some kind of article on this, but not yet. More towards the end of your development cycle.

@@retropolis1 I would like to, but I can't rip the sprites. However, I guess those sprites are sampled from real photos, so perhaps I can create my own sprites. Not for this game, but I'm playing with the idea of recreating Super Hang-On with my existing code with a very similar original mode where you earn money for winning against your rival. I won't be stealing any existing assets (or maybe some engine sounds) so I can actually sell it.

@@retropolis1 And to answer to your 2nd question: I have no idea. 🤣 I guess it's going to be an ongoing project like rFactor 2 or Euro Truck Simulator 2. Just like a project car, there is always something to fix or add. There is some stuff that needs to be addressed, but I don't want to. 🤣 But maybe if the majority of the code is ready, I can call it something like v1.0 and I'll start working on the motorcycle game.

Okay, I like how you loosely recreated the OG TOR course, despite the lack of the courses of: - Washington DC (1-2) - St. Louis (2-2) - Memphis (2-3) - Atlanta (2-4) (that desert could have worked better for Dallas or San Antonio) - San Antonio (3-3) - Dallas (3-4) - Okhlahoma City (4-2) - Denver (4-2) - Grand Canyon (4-3) Are you planning to add any of those courses into the game? Or maybe recreating new stages like one based on Vegas (Casino Town in OR2SP)? Also, will you add the annoying police car chasing you as well? Looking hot as always. I'll download the latest version soon.

@@DonVecta Probably yeah! But ripping sprites is a tedious job. 😅 Maybe I'm going to add some custom stages as well. Oh and the police car is definitely coming someday.

Excellent work, but i don't remember Out Run being that fast ( in the time of the master system ), pleasant to watch, but just a bit too much for me speed wise for me.

@@andreaspooky6183 Maybe. Perhaps I'll add the option to put them on both sides, although for me it helps to determine to where the corner goes, even before I can actually read the sign.
