Here's the thing. They would be ads yes but they would also inevitably be inherently funny. It's the viewers decision if they just want to laugh it off and move on or if they also want to spend money on the third party product or service. I enjoy super bowl ads for their entertainment aspect but the only time I was actually lured in by one of their ads was the Breaking Bad Pop Corners commercial. That being said 99% of the other paid sponsorships were water off a duck's back for me because I'm rarely if ever influenced to buy things I don't need but I also understand that sponsorships = income for the creator and that's just a fact of life we have to accept.

@@Hobomcfluffernutter Nah, I'm saying that sponsored content is bad to watch. I use Premium so the creators get paid by duration instead of ad revenue, and by flogging sponsored content it's another ad I'll skip 30 seconds so the content creator gets paid less.. 😊

I'm just asking, who are we to try and tell the creator how they should or shouldn't benefit from their craft? I'm not telling him to do it but either way I support his decision.
