Hey everyone,((( please Subscribe to help my channel))) I made another video using recordings I took when putting the turbeo onto Starlet. to see what I did to get her to thus stage and what happened. il also make separate videos explaining the issues I ran into and what I did resolve them. I'm by no means a mechanic and I'm still learning. so if you have advice or ideas I'm always happy to hear it (as long as it's said in a respectfully and educationally).. @@francissanmiguel2081 I'm not quite sure bud they came with the car when I bought the Starlet. I wish i could help. There are some on Ebay that look similar but i dont think they are the exact same :).

Damn, you spent like 1k on this lol the AEM gauges are the most expensive ones. Nice build man. Would love to build myself one with a turbo but you need a lot of things for it...

yeah something like that. I think it's a little under that as I got some stuff on a deal or for a good price. il make a video of breakdown of Costs and how to fish for bargains on starlet parts. most expensive piece was the exhaust. I got the aem gauges for a really good deal :). Thanks so much for watching :)

I think as far as i can remember is my starlet is on 15's. They are Enkeis off an MX5 :). I'll drop you another message tomorrow when I get a chance to look at the tyres for you :).

yes all original and unopened engine

retard timing and or get a standalone or piggy back and get it set up properly so it lasts. otherwise it will go bang on stock ecu

Thanks a lot. The stock 4efe engine lasted around 4000 miles on the stock ecu. if I had got it mapped on the standalone it would have lasted much much much longer with stock internals.

Honestly mate I would be lying if I said I knew. I didn't have a boost gauge and didn't dyno it. it's whatever it was set on. maybe 1bar?

@@melo21g39 I'm getting custom looms made and once they are done and I install them to the haltech ecu I got for it, then I should be able to see what it was running before I get it mapped in. Will be interesting to know. And thanks for the compliment :)

Wait so you blew the 4efe and ordered... Another 4efe? Why not grab a 5e if you can't get hold of a 4efte? Are they hard to find over there? They can hold a lot more power

Not many here mate and if there is one it goes fast and more pricey.. also I bought the other 4efe for £200 and checked it and it's all good 👍. I will be rebuilding the original engine when I swap it over. Thanks for the comment :).

@@shyguy8426 Ahh okay. 5es are everywhere here in NZ, you can find one in pretty much any junkyard for the equivalent of £100. Which is lucky for me, because my first two blew up! Haha

@@Lolvi6 nice mate, if I do come by one I may grab it. although I do have a celica T sport with a 2zz I'm considering putting in there. but I'm not sure if I want to yet. I may buy a second starlet to do that swap into. I'm currently putting the celica T sport interior into the starlet. 😀

hey it really depends on the prices of the parts you buy and from what country as prices vary. but for me it cost between £700 and £900 at the time. ofcouse with my own time as labour cost :)

that was stock ecu. that's why I didn't mention it. I have a new haltech ecu with custom looms il be installing soon and il make a video about it. did you watch my other video? it explains some things about the car and my plans for the future.. yeah that was stock clutch that's why later in the video you see me changing it and the flywheel to the 4efte equivalent and it didn't slip anymore although I didn't show a run with that. This starlet is now getting a 2zz Swap from a T sport celica and I just bought another starlet to continue the turbo series ;)
