You mentioned reassembly being difficult with the seals. What I like to do is put the turbine wheel in the bearing housing first and then press the ballbearings on. That way you can't mess up the seals. You only need to wack or in this case screw the locator pin in last but it's easy to align this prior to locator pin install.

I would very much so like to watch it if so, you have been very informational and straight to the point I am currently in the process of getting ready to break down the turbo of my 6.7 2014 . I already have it out of the truck and ready

I haven’t finished because I’m trying to get parts. Someone has the rebuild kit it’s around 200, but I’m trying to get some made so I can have my own inventory. The rebuild is going to be similar to the gt35r. I have a few videos on the gt35r and gt3076r.

Do you know which models had that turbo as opposed to the one with a single inlet and single outlet. Sounds a lot harder to work on.

Never seen anyone even open one of these up. Have you found available parts or upgraded parts for these 11-14 turbos. Like swapping the front overs to 1 inlet or bearing upgrads, seals,shafts, ect?

Do you need the ball bearing cage? I don’t think anyone sells that. The balls I have some because they are gt35r size.
