TurboTax 2023 activation license code e-file limit max of 5 not PC. Switch product for more 25 efles

I’m in the same boat I had to buy another activation code but I can’t get it to switch. It still wants to charge me to download the state form.

Will this allow your family members to efile from your computer? what if you dont want their tax infomration to be shared between family members, is it now being stored all on the same online account?

You can have your computer and file their tax kept on a USB drive they own. If you login to their computer with your sign, it will active as another device. They can do their taxes and e-file but you will lose 1 e-file on your license no matter if you had 5 on your computer. They at least can work on their file and save on their computer, if that is what you want. The file will stored on the local computer and not online with the desktop version. It only gets transmitted to the TurboTax servers that forward to the IRS.

You need to get another product and use the license key. When you have that, go to Help, Switch product, Activate new product. Re-open TurboTax and enter the new license key... When you get the filing section, there might be a message about 5 efiles... SELECT Check E-file Status and states You Haven't e-filed a Tax Return Yet, select Continue button, then select Continue.

Turbo Tax lost me as a customer with this license code bullsht

I activated TT 2023 on my windows 11 computer. This made it 5 of 5 that was used. Then my windows 11 crashed, so I installed windows 10. Now I'm trying to activate TT2023 on my windows 10. Same computer but different OS. How can I do this?

My knowledge with recent installations seem that 5 of 5 installs are the max. I installed ten software packages on five laptops so that each laptop has one activation for one laptop install of the individual license key activated. I have 4 more installs for the license key, but don't need it. I need 5 e-files on one laptop, so actually it was 25 e-files with the five different software. Then I had 25 more e-files with the other 5 license keys. A total of 50 efiles with 10 license keys on 5 laptops. I would have to purchase 10 more license keys to e-file 50 more tax files on the 5 laptops. Installing the software on more than 5 times just doesn't benefit after you e-filed 5 times. The previous year, you could active on five computers and e-file 5 e-files per each laptop for a total of 25.
