You can e-file up to five returns. Mailed returns are not limited.

Because it's an unnessesary step and only serves Intuit. There is no benefit. If you install the software on the same computer later it still asks for serial number, not login. The .tax files are saved as files which I then backup so there is no need for an account. I imagine they will be going 100% online soon.

Thanks for this video. What is the difference between online and license/downloaded version? When I try to file online it will ask me to pay $89.

You do not have option to upload your w2 form and 1099... You need to enter them manually. 10 forms....

Turbo tax for business is the most poorly at home program I have ever used. I wish I would have just paid my accountant. It does a very bad job of walking the regular non-account thru the process- after weeks of googling terms and vague references that the program has-I will have to get the business taxes done by an accountant because i have no confidence in the software. What waste money for a half baked product.

It'll make the end user's transition to their cloud-only product in TY2024 easier. There is no other logical explanation.

Agreed. Total BS in my opinion. All software companies are now switching to everything cloud or some way of getting more of your information so that they can have more control over the user. Very alarming as well as disappointing situation. I am the desktop-only-cd-version kind of person.

@@striker1211 The only other explanation is all software companies want as much control over the user as they can legally get. Quite alarming in this day and age of cyberattacks and server breaches and what not.
