Lucy's the best! Although the ad is a bit misleading, a lot of people who work at tax places like HR Block, due indeed take classes but also only work there during tax season so it wouldn't be surprising to run into the tax person working elsewhere.

This is the most insulting commercial I have ever seen. Thank you for saying that everyone who's not a CPA is completely incompetent Turbo Tax. I've worked for HR Block and you have to take a three month training course along with several supplemental classes to prepare taxes and you also have to pass a test administered by the irs. And then you have to take several refresher courses every year. It is a thorough process that produces great preparers. Shut up, Turbo Tax.

FYI: Just got out of a Chat window on Turbo Tax website, the guy was from INDIA. False advertising stating that you get your answers only from Tax Attorneys, CPA's or EA's..Come on. He obviously couldn't help me. Very disappointed.

I used Turbotax for about 10 years. It seemed to work fine for simple returns, but once I had significant deductions and credits wouldn't work right. Two years ago I had to wait two extra weeks for Turbo Tax to correct software issues before I could properly e-file, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I tried to use it again last year and it missed $1000 in refundable credits! I think they are starting to cut corners in their programming or something. TaxAct is the way to go.

I have a friend who work for it H & R block, and she can do taxes with out the computer system .. 'cause thats how their trained.. shes the shit at it

Much love for the actors, but my parents being plumbers and retailers all their lives doesn't make them incompetent. I hate what TurboTax insinuates in these commercials.
