That was the clearest explanation of suspension setup I’ve found. Thanks.

As a novice sledder, 2nd year in, this is a fantastic explanation of how all this works. I just assumed it was some type of voodoo that made it all work.

Very clear. I have been looking for an explanation like this for a while. Thank you!!

I feel like the khaos was marketing genius to get the flatlanders to buy wheelie machines. The pro is still king of the mountain when you need to be in control.

Great explanation of the two models. I'm starting to play with the center shock spring pre-load on my 19 Pro to make it a little more playful.

@@gratefulshred Good to hear that it works. I'm not looking to do wheelies, I just miss the fun factor of my old 155 Pro. I also have the 19 850 but it is a 163". It gets it done in the deep but is a little too planted in the hero snow. Time to play with the shocks and lighten the front end a bit.

I found adjusting the spring is far better then playing with clickers.. cos you look your place on the clickers real fast unless you write it down.

Brett - How do you set your preload on the rear track shocks on both machines? Do you run alot of preload on the ski's?
@turcotte163 жыл бұрын
On the Rmk i will typically run less pre load, it has a slightly stiffer spring on the rear compared to Khaos. I run anywhere from 1/2” to 3/4” pre load on the ski shocks. A good rule of thumb is to take all the pre load away, then add 1/2” as a starting point then use your clickers from there.

So what’s more useful? A mild set up on a khaos or an aggressive pro?
@turcotte163 жыл бұрын
I like to have a mellow setup on the rmk as opposed to an aggressive compensating setup on a khaos

What do you suggest for a 2020 SKS 155 2.6 I mostly boon dock UP of Michigan. Sled seems hard to get to turn in tight spots. It has WAlker evans clickers. Thanks!!

Stiffen up your Center skid shock, to allow it to transfer to the rear track shock sooner!
