Man, looks like you were blowing a lot of snow on your neighbors house 😄
@TurfCulture2 күн бұрын
Nowhere else to go with it 🤷♂️
@PaulWerner2 күн бұрын
@TurfCulture Just curious, does it do the same even at the lowest Deflector Angle setting?
@TurfCulture2 күн бұрын
Yes it does, if the houses were further apart it wouldn't be a problem. I have a rear entry garage and my driveway runs between the houses so there isn't an ideal path to direct the snow. With the deflector at the lowest angle it will not hit any windows, just the bricks.
@pixelpusher220Күн бұрын
@@TurfCulture Def wouldn't be happy as the neighbor. Can you specify which direction the auger throws at certain points? Smaller passes and throwing forward till past the houses would be better
@TurfCultureКүн бұрын
I keep that in mind should you ever move in next door.

I love the idea of an overnight snowfall and the robot clearing that night so that I've got a clean driveway when I wake up

Yes! Now that I have used the machine a few times I can just allow it to run and not babysit.

sorry if this was mentioned already but you're supposed to take off the metal auger guards. they are there to protect the auger during shipment.

I have th Yarbo with Mower attachment. I was a big Yarbo hater because it was 3 months late for delivery but now that i have it, i am super happy. Its the best investment for this year if it last at least 3 years. Only time will tell. Taking off the grill will greatly help
@markpuccio627013 сағат бұрын
it's a killing machine without the grate. They should redesign the grate so it is 6" off the ground.

Great video! Looks like it’s doing a good job throwing the snow around! Can’t believe it works that well with the RTK in the garage.
@TurfCulture8 сағат бұрын
This is my 3rd auto mower/snow blower RTK that I've installed in garage and it hasn't let me down yet.
@OldGuyAdventure12 сағат бұрын
Wow, the Snowblower attachment and the robot costs $7K Canadian. They won't sell that many in Canada at a price like that. But it cleans much better than our local community operations department.

Not cheap, but it does work well.

25 minutes and approx 5" of snow and 1" of ice.

Can you program it to not blow on the neighbors house but rather in front of it until it gets passed the house and the window?
@robertreynolds93019 сағат бұрын
you can pick a spot for it to put all the snow, he hasn't found that feature yet i assume.
@TurfCulture8 сағат бұрын
Yes you can but there isn't really a good way to get the rover to shoot the debris forward for an extended period of time. I am still trying to figure out the best way to go about this.
@Riptrack13Күн бұрын
I definitely think taking off that front grille would help it out, and maybe prevent it from getting clogged. Pretty cool!
@TurfCultureКүн бұрын
I did end up taking off the grille to see if it made a difference and I do think it does help but I think it's there as a safety feature. If you install the plow accessory from Yarbo the grille has to come off anyway.

It appears that it could be a replacement for a single stage 1-3" for light powder. If I have to dress up to go out and rescue it, I'd prefer to do it all myself in half the time and be done.

Yes, I would hate to feel like I had to watch it all of the time. May as well go out and do it myself and be done with it.

Nice video! I hear many owners complain about the robot not positioning itself correctly on the charge pad so it fails to charge. Does yours do that as well? Maybe they will come out with better stud tracks in the future.
@TurfCulture2 күн бұрын
I have noticed that when docking with the standard rubber treads the Yarbo rover has no issue. With the studded treads it takes the rover a few tries to get positioned correctly but I haven't had a issue with it not charging.
@bdjm8595Күн бұрын
Looks like a "dog house" with heat for the Yarbo to thaw out in while charging would be the way to go.
@TurfCulture8 сағат бұрын
That may cause some issues with the GPS signal at the docking station.
