What about a double faction, double elimination tournament. It would basically work like two SFTs in a trench coat where if you lose as your first faction, you keep playing as your second. In play offs, if you have both factions you keep playing until they’re both knocked out?

Turin! Did you see all the High Elf previews for Old World just now? They look fantastic, and they seem to have a much more solid selection of newish models than most other factions do. They don't really have to take the old gnarly stuff at all. Really exciting!
