I've a new job that finally pays what I need to live and high on my list is regular contributions to Turin. I've watched hundreds of hours of his FREE content over the years and I can't wait to throw money at him for all his hard work keeping this haggard game alive and well. I don't even play this game anymore, but I watch it almost daily. Love it!

In regards to the Tzeentch matchup: The Taurak item that turns off magic damage is there to turn back on their Guardian ability. Up to you if you want to use it, but I've been having a lot of luck with both of them running around giving each other guardian. Also in the Skaven matchup, double bull centaur taurok does well. They beat the crap out of Doom Flayers, Mutant Rat Ogre characters, Ikit, bell characters, they're a small-ish target for missiles, and they can dive the backfield.

Just an FYI if you missed there is a fix for dawn of war 2 sound bug now. It involves limiting the framerate and a couple of other things. 90% effective fix it seems. There is a guide out on the interwebs somewhere and its super simple.

Had to go back and watch the IE and the chorfs trailer. Karl Franz still gives me tears from the sheer epicness. And the roar from the K’dai Destroyer at the end… … !!!!!!!!!

That last match was an absolute joy to watch. I hate playing against Tzeentch and seeing them get wrecked by Skaven is fantastic. I was quite nervous at one point when the skaven lord seemed to use its weight to knock the Tzeentch lord out of the stormvermin surround, but then he casted howling warpgale. The slingers are a great tech versus the horror ranged concave. Then we get a dreaded 13th finisher. It was a treat.

I hope they lower the cost of Bull Centaur Renders some, their nerfs got them into a reasonable state. But their cost is just to high for what you get.

@Turin DOW2 doesn't seem to have sound bug anymore(haven't had any in a game in the last 1.5 years), and there have been some great patches added in.

could the chawi do something weird with double tauruk and kadai? whole bunch of physical resist units/heroes with the talismans to turn off magical weapons? anything else that has/boosts physical resist on the roster?

It's a cool idea but go and try and implement it and you'll see that in order to do that the cost is so high your whole army suffers. This applies to alot of really cool theoretical builds that just don't work in practice in a competitive mu.

I get the feeling that you just have to shut down weapon teams first no matter what when dealing with skaven. Maybe double bale taurus? Sorcerer prophet on the bull too?

So I tried playing conquest for the first time yesterday and found that my FPS tanks to unplayable low levels (8-10) as soon as the victory point gets captured. I've found mention of this bug online but haven't found the workaround or fix which I assume must exist since Turin has been streaming conquest tournaments. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
