The opening melody alternates 5/8 and 6/8 (or, it is in 11/8 if you prefer), the people (sort of) clap in 3/4 or 4/4 which fits after a couple of repetitions.

Folk metal at its best, the level of musicianship is impeccable. Im a power metal and prog metal guy, but this stuff is incredible. to mix metal, fusion time signatures, and the eastern european scales is amazing. last but not least to play complex music at nearly 200 BPM is truly musicianship not of this earth. TURISAS ROCKS!!!!!!!!

yeah paganfest usa is where i first saw them along with tyr, eluveitie and ensiferum. i also saw them with dragonforce. turisas puts on a really good show.
