Turkey Knob 4WD trail to Cedar Point and Poison Springs Canyon: An awesome, moderate 4WD trail, with beautiful scenery, and a long challenging section of deep sand to keep you on your toes. The wash boarding on South Turkey Knob Road is uncomfortable but airing down makes it more bearable and airing down for the deep sandy sections is a necessity. Since you are in the area, make a visit to the “Little Egypt Geologic site”, an area of goblins and hoodoos similar to Goblin Valley State Park. To get there, go across highway 95 from the junction of North Turkey Knob Road and highway 95 and spend an hour exploring this interesting area. I have included a short bonus video of what you will miss if you if you don’t check it out.
