Wild turkeys can fly pretty well, they just prefer to walk most of the time, and have very little endurance in the air. Domestic turkeys are usually too heavy to get airborne though.

It's a wild turkey, and like most wild birds (except penguins and ratites) they can fly. There are wild chickens too believe it or not, and they too are capable of flight. Both of these are truly wild btw, not feral.
