This is such a fun trail. My brother and one of my uncles are local volunteer firefighters. It sounds like that if they get called out for a medical assist at the park it is usually to help someone on this trail. So, if you get hurt on this trail and you see a firefighter say "Hi" to them. I just might be related to them! LOL

Great video, hiked it many times. I like going in colder, less desirable weather, as the crowds are nearly non existent.

Please, the music is so distracting when watching this video. I watch for nature, not to be at some concert in the canyons.

I hear you. Regretfully, there are hurdles to straight-up recording natural sounds. From the start is the basic equipment. Adding an external microphone is pricey and may not improve the quality. The biggest problem is all of the man-made sounds. During the summer, there can be way too many people making all sorts of noise and walking into view, including dogs barking. In the winter, it's amazing just how long you can hear a passing truck or an airplane. One of my winter videos in Turkey Run I had to wait over 10 minutes to stop hearing a passenger plane to then just have a family coming into hearing range for another 10 minutes even in the freezing cold. When I finally thought I had good audio, I could hear a truck while editing the video. It's also surprising just how much noise I still make while trying not to just from my clothes when I move my arms that get recorded. This last spring, I tried hiking the Appalachian Trail, but I never really escaped humanity as there were always road traffic sounds or a line of trees from someone's house.
