Huge travel day today! Over the course of about 30 hours, we flew from Jerusalem, Israel to Began Myanmar and took a bus, train, planes, and taxi to our final destination! Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. Two things. The manti in the business lounge is good enough to miss a flight just to have more. And the soups served in Turkish business class are the best soups ever. Everything on Turkish - especially the Taittinger birthday bubbly - is simply awesome. We only booked Turkish over summer 2019 because you all had such a great time when they flew you to NYC for the Shorty Awards and into your vacation in Maldives. And we were not disappointed in the least.

straight up, this used to be me. Now I fly business about 1/3 of my long haul flights. The key has been credit cards connected to frequent flyer miles, joining different frequent flyer programs, and always doing the "what if" search of businessclass prices. I once (true story) found RT business class, kathmandu to new york on Cathay pacific for LESS than the economy class ticket I was planning on getting. It's rare but it happens.

When business class was on sale, i came to the airport 12 hrs early so i could spend the whole day in business lounge plus i booked the flight that has a layover of 15 hrs for another business lounge of awesomeness. Even tho the plane and airport is not so great. I cant imagine how many days i would spend if I were able to book a business class for Turkish Airlines. I passed by their new airport lst year of Oct and i came 5 hrs early (i was on economy seat) and I tell u I almost got left behind because I was busy going around the airport.. There is something about the airport that excites me. Wish I could get an upgrade.

Every time I watch you eat some incredible-looking food, I have to run upstairs with my computer and show him. I'm a new subscriber and have just started watching your videos. I really admire your sense of adventure, which of course extends to your adventurous eating. I had to run upstairs to show my husband that you were eating stinky tofu.
