I took TK 005 from Istanbul to Chicago on July 5th 2020. Economy class passengers were packed like sardines (forget social distancing), there were 6 to 10 crew who were mostly sitting and talking among themselves when nit passing food to passengers. lunch/dinner was a box of dry tasteless sandwich with few other stuff. No one came to give us water or any beverage. One way fare was $1500 plus Kathmandu-Istanbul-Chicago. It was the most horrible flight experience in my life.

Do not take this flight unless you are desperate!!!! If you can afford, pay few extra $ to go with another carrier with more caring crew. Stay away from this airline.

Im a U.K. citizen but I need to visit my girlfriend in the US - are they letting tourists in that fly from Turkey? It’s exempt from the Presidential Proclamation so I’m thinking I’ll have 2 weeks in Istanbul first?

im in Tanzania at present. very disappointed with Turkish airlines as the online booking was active and.had.booked for July 4,2020 flight .yesterday i received an email that flight is cancelled. i called up the reservation staff jist to tell me i have to wait for 50days or more to refund my money. if they dont have definite flight yet so why the system accepted bookings. at this time no one can.answer my query.

Do not book any flights form the USA - Europe with Turkish Airlines!!! They'll cancel your flight and you "will not" get a full refund. They offer some vouchers and change of flight - but there's no flights Sorry, cancelled - we need your money cause we're skint.

Hasan Iqbal If you think that the way the economy is operating as per government guidelines is going to stop people from poverty it certainly won’t. Of course I don’t want people to be struggling but there has been a false sense of security with many being paid which has now stopped. This is going to split wide open in the coming weeks.
