2:09 - This may not have changed until after this video was released 7 years ago, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to wait until you leave the plane before inflating the life vests to ensure you don't get stuck in a sinking plane.

You mean to say you’d wait until you’re down the slide in the water before seeing if you need to inflate your life jacket with your mouth? What they mean is don’t inflate it when you’re in your seat because if everyone does that then yes everyone will be in everyone’s way. Which is why they specified next to inflate the infants one immediately because she was in her seat.
