one of the biggest thing why people can"t support musician that they enjoy listening is economical. People works 5 or 6 day in a weak from 9am to 18pm but actually it"s more than 9 hours in reality especially in Istanbul. Some people have to wake up 6 a.m to get to the work on time because of traffic jam, rental prices etc. After all that effort to make money (that"s also ridiculous amount) steal whole energy.
