Over 30 years ago when I dated my first "black girl", I just thought she was nice and very pretty. It was not my goal to date a black girl. She just happened to be the nicest and prettiest one in front of me at the time. Since then I have dated white, spanish, asian, and finally a black girl from Montreal whom I married 19 years ago. There is a lot of variety here in Orlando, Florida.
@denisewendt71155 жыл бұрын
I found the Turkish men were very honest about how they felt about Black women and whether they would date them. And I really admired their answers, that there should not be any barriers between Black or White. FANTASTIC answers. I like boys or men who do not distinguish between color. Of course, they're right, if you have genuine feelings for someone regardless of the color of their skin, then there's nothing wrong with that. You will probably be surprised at what could blossom between two people of different color or culture. Nothing is impossible when it comes to Love. LOVE IS A UNIVERSAL WORD.

@@Courtney-pe2iw It depends with your definition of black or dark. Obviously the black they are referring to in the Qur'an is not a black persons skin tone. Just the way white people don't resemble milk or snow. Common sense really. As a black woman I don't own a single black shoes or scarf that matches my skin tone. Just the way black women don't buy black foundation to match our complexion. If it was a negative verse it would have said black like black people skin. Its black as in soot/charcoal, when you burn something and it turns black.

Sorry girls, but you’re asking the wrong questions! Kudos tho’ for your bilingualism! Turkish men are encouraged to flirt/date before they settle down. It’s in their DNA! Then pressure from their families encourage them to stay within their own culture/religion. Dating and marrying are two very different things. I’d like to have seen an additional Q: “Would you marry a black girl?” And then check the response. Also at the end there in your summary, I don’t see the need to, “be in love,” with someone to date them and I have no problem with dating out of curiosity. Dating is how you find out, surely and is the quickest way to break down barriers, in my humble opinion!

I highly highly doubt Turks can be racist as a norm compared to say , Saudi, because for one Turks didn't homogenously live unlike say, the Saudis or Japanese etc but had a very diverse cosmopolitan geopolitical empir (Ottoman) they were managing. I feel only homogeneous races are prone to mass racism.

Chaeyoung's peach White Americans aren’t that racist, it’s just black Americans are hyper sensitive and think everything is racist even when it’s not, many black Americans have a chip on their shoulders and a victimised mindset so they see racism where it doesn’t exist.

J U C H E N - historically speaking you’re right, but currently many black US-Americans are hypersensitive; for an example a lot of them find white (or other non-black) people with dreads racist...when it’s not. Well I don’t find that racist.
@nasraabdi89745 жыл бұрын
Folkert Van Dezen Who are you to say what’s offensive and not offensive to black people? When blacks people get fired from their jobs or sent home from school because of their hair then yes, it is offensive. Because white people (in the US especially) love to appropriate black culture and when they wear dreads it’s seen as cool and trendy. As a matter of fact many cultures love to appropriate black culture but when it’s Black people doing it, it’s ghetto. And how are they “victimizing themselves when they live in a society that is systematically racist. I’d highly encourage you to educate yourself before you write off years of systemic oppression and abuse as “hypersensitivity” and “victimization”.

It's like you are insistingly trying to get a racist answer even if you hear a normal one in first time. You really can't find that kind of racism in Turkey. and it doesnt feel nice to watch you ask those questions in that way, like actively searching for a racist answer... I think you should change it a little bit. But other than that I like your channel. Keep up the good work.
@indigoblueviolet7 жыл бұрын
When she probed for the answer, she let the person express their beautiful heart. And she got very nice answers that show the rest of the world who have never been to Turkey that the people there are very positive and have strong beliefs of loving people for people. This is not true for a lot of places in the world. Some people act ok on the surface but deep inside they are very hateful. This was obviously not true and you could tell by their kind and positve responses. Not like the videos I just watched of being Black in Spain, for instance. Like some places in the USA if you are a person of color you need to be careful because of the hatred. They would use the N word and say that dating a black person is the worst thing. Also in Asian countries that is the worst thing as well. This video really surprised me. Just like the video about Spain surprised me, how bad the experiences were.
