That’s not very true I had hypoglycaemia attack and I was sitting on the bench my aunt ran over and never spoke Turkish so she tried to point at her clock. By the time he had finished my mother and sister already bought me many sugary snacks from a far store. Honestly and my aunt was telling him to hurry but because there were other women who were recording he didn’t listen to my aunt and wanted attention. So that was my experience apart from that Istanbul’s was hella fun! Also. For the most part it’s a fun tourist experience I’ve had a few Icecreams like this. But Depends on the vendor some of them over do it, one of them literally made me stand there for 5 minutes while he mocked me with his games and snide remarks while it was fun intially got really old and boring later I just walked away leaving him with the ice cream 😂 he was cursing me (I think) in Turkish as I walked away haha . If you are serious type person or suffer from anxiety it can get on your nerves!
