Hi Scott & Vicki I was privileged to receive a box of Snyder products from Nichole for Christmas. Thank you 4 the video. I'm looking forward to tomorrow Jan. 4, 2020, as The Village Spinners are going to gather at Faye's home for our monthly meeting. I'll be proud to show off my new toy/tool. Happy New Year!

I have never done spinning my own wool and want to start and your video is really well presented and clear. The starting kit I am planning on buying in my country does not have a Turkish spindle but I have ordered one separately. I already dye my own fabric so dyeing wool will just be an extension

Cool idea! I have a couple of wooden drawers I salvaged, I will use one of them to make a spindle Kate like yours. I am thinking I can screw it in the wall to keep it off the table.

I purchased a turkish spindle at DFW Fiber Fest a year and a half ago and promptly forgot how to spin on it. I now have an urge to get it out and play. :)

This is perfect! I have had this small spindle for years and somehow during my recent move, I lost the center part and I was able to order a new one! I’m pretty sure that with this video I will now be using this spindle very frequently! Right now, I’m heading back over to Etsy because I now love many of your spindles. BTW, I have given several of your spindles as gifts!

I’m glad I found you on KZbin. I bought one of your Turkish Spindles from Ingrid of SpryWhimsy when I met her 2 years ago. Thanks for showing the candy cane method. I definitely was experiencing a wobbly spin after I got some yarn on. I’ll be using this method from now on.

Thanks, I had asked for a new spindle for my collection for Xmas. Got it today :) and this one was new to me so I needed this video. May I suggest? A small assembly diagram in your package and a link to your video? I found you but I did have to do a bit of looking.

How do I purchase a spindle from you? Sheralynn Wilson from South Africa recommended your spindles to me after I commented on her fantastic video. I like the look of the Turkish. I am a beginner so would so enjoy seeing more videos on spinning! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your time. I am from Montana U.S.A.

I've been on crochet kick lately but I also knit (poorly) and do a little weaving.

Snyder Spindles somehow I doubt that you knit poorly.

Thank you for this video. Just started spinning yesterday with the turkish spindle and this is really helpful. What is that band you're wearing on your wrist? I noticed that I ended up losing control of the roving over my wrist so that is interesting to see how you manage that.

How do you get your yarn so thin?

years and years of spinning. After awhile drafting becomes as natural as breathing, muscle memory is a beautiful thing.
