If it is, make sure you pack lots of winter wears and an umbrella because Istanbul's weather is unpredictable and cold at this time of year. Also, if it is your first time, make sure these foods are on your wish list: Lahmacun, Iman Bayıldı, Adana kebab, İskender kebab, kuru fasulye, and most importantly find a place that serves meze (tapas) dishes. And make sure to check out Kadıköy on the Asian side, it's the most trendy and cosmopolitan area of Istanbul IMO. There is a channel called Bery Istanbul Tips (a Mexican couple in Istanbul), they have lots of good videos on value places to eat without getting caught in the tourist trap of central Istanbul on the European side. 🕊️✌🏼

You suppose to say "Ellerine Saglik" after they served you then they will say afiyet olsun to you. Ellerine Saglik is for 1 person, Ellerinize Saglik is for multiple people. If the food is very tasty you can say "Aman Allahım çok lezzetli = My God very delicious. Çok acılı olmasın - Don't make it too spicy (hot), Az acılı olsun - Make it little spicy. Mükemmel olmuş - Perfectly made Muhteşem olmuş - Wonderfully made İnanılmaz lezzetli - Unbelievably tasty Süper olmuş - Superbly made Enfes olmuş - Deliciously made - Enfes is another word for lezzetli. Enfes/Leziz görünüyor - Looks delicious Ağzımda eridi - Melted in my mouth Tadına bayıldım - I love the flavour/taste Hayırlı işler - Goodbye (Literally means I hope you have a fruitful day )
