The neo tri beam,destructo disc,and the special beam cannon are all examples of attacks that are specifically meant to make up for a character being too weak for something like a Kamehameha to be effective. The neo tri beam using life force to ridiculously surpass the conventional limits of the user,then there are piercing and slicing attacks similar to the destructo disc that minimize surface area contact to still be deadly to enemies that would otherwise shrug off the attack if it were in the form of a basic ki ball. Then there's the special beam cannon which has a bit of both with it's piercing capability and it's ridiculous charge up. All special ki moves do surpass their user to some extent,but not like these three.

Turles could LITERALLY block Special Beam Cannon with a palm and counter a Spirit Bomb with easy but Ig Goku's plot armor Wave is stronger. Unless this is a english dub only thing, and Goku absorbed the power of the Spirit Bomb threw at him or something.

So, even if you were joking, I'd like to mention that the ending where Goku killed Turles and took out the entire tree was actually one of the most poetic, brilliant endings to a villain to me. Goku couldn't get the spirit bomb to work the first time because the Earth's energy had been sucked into the tree right? (Hence why it showed the deer die, because barely any energy was left on Earth) so the second time, Goku summons that spirit ball FROM the tree, which is why even though it was small, it deleted the flying fuck out of Turles and the tree because he was able to make that spirit bomb super strong in a short amount of time because all of the Earth's energy was in that concentrated spot. So, Turles literally died from the thing that was making him powerful. That's one of the main reasons Turles is one of my favorite villains to this day cause I felt how they wrote him to be vicious and willing to do anything for these fruits was what led to his downfall in the end.

I've seen a LOT of anime and tv shows and though there are examples of just 'chef's kiss' of storytelling, this was like the example of having a really good meal that's your favorite and then sitting back and just relishing in that you got to enjoy it. Turles will always be my favorite Saiyan, besides Trunks, and Vegeto if he wasn't literally two people lol

This video was comedy gold. Sidenote, i NEVER, can grasp from a tactical standpoint, nor based on what the movie expressed, Mr. Turles Ki-Blast King, getting bonked. He could have dodged that last attack and bodied this yan, even after his Ki Sphereoid failed, allegedly, on counter impact. Plus, he already ate (BIT!!! He didnt eat the whole thing!!!), A tree fruit, and got swole and "Counter Blast Tanked" a Spirit Ball. Then later, unless my mind is failing me, didnt he literally feast on another Mighty Tree Fruit? Meaning, he should have easily screwed Kakarot Son Z Goku over. Unless i goofed and he never ate a second fruit. Still ... That ending bugs the heffle out of me, every, time, i think about it, MUCH LESS SEE IT. I get that good must bonk evil. Buuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttttttttttt, Naked Gohan. Lmao.
