@@itskillerluc6168 The game is made in Unity and uses the Mono backend, so modding it is extremely easy. What I expect to be less easy is making the 2 DLCs' level generators kiss. I'd be down to show you the ropes of unity modding if you want.

im gonna say it, when he places the horses on top of the rig thats overflowing, they dont go to THAT rig right away so try placing the horses on the other rig to make them go to the right rig, if that dont work then the game sucks

Its because other horses are already on the way and they have the task to get the oil and the number of horses to get that amount are on the way.

The horse AI just sucks. You should've seen them in the other DLC when there are two distinct types of liquids the horses have to transport, assigning which to do what was a total crapshoot.

It looks like it works as a first-come first-serve type system where as soon as a job needs doing, the horse who has been free for the longest calls dibs on the job and starts to do it, even if they were the furthest away lol.

Have things changed with some update or am I just remembering the resource wrong? Because I could have sworn that last time you needed to surround the Gas Pockets with hot pipes and then the gas would grow to the size of the area surrounded by the pipes... Is that still a thing or was that patched out or something?

That is still a thing in the original game mode, but in the DLC the heat is on it has always been by connecting pipes to magma.

That was how growing gas worked in the base game. This is the DLC "The Heat is on", which removed that mrchanic and instead added Magma as a new "resource".

I think going straight from the other dlc to this one makes the other one look SO worse. Like the petrol mechanic was kinda cool but also kinda finicky. And once you discovered selling no oil was the best strat it just opened up a second way to get screwed over by bad land. And then you head here and there's more lands, the lands have higher numbers that allow for more satisfying plays, the heat and gas lead to cool skill checks that aren't finicky. You could really say that while this DLC is cooked the other was just washed up.
