This is definitely an easy/fast project! You do a fantastic job of building pieces that anyone can diy and be proud too! Who doesn't like making furniture for themself? Thanks!

simple and quick. Can be a nighstand, plant stand or sitting stool as well. If sitting stool, maybe use screws instead. BTW, size of brad nails?

good call! They are 2 and a half inch brad nails

I'm a complete noob to the woodwork game, I built the last 2x10 bench ya'll posted, great build for around the house! Question on my part, would there be any drawback to sanding the wood before assembly? I just wanna make sure I get all the interior corners where the wood meets nice and smooth first

Glad to hear you made the bench! It’s honestly probably smarter to sand before you put it all together but we’re lazy so we did it after it was all assembled lol! You will want to sand it after it’s all assembled as well, just in case, anything got dinged up or scratched in the process of assembling.

Great project. Nice and easy as well. Did you have a buyer in mind or did you go through marketplace? So a 2x10 eight foot long is $9.92 plus tax in San Diego right now. Do you just set a price at random or do you figure 5 x material cost rounded up? Cost + time X ? = sale price? Hope you had a great Christmas and that you guys are planning for a safe and fun New Year, thanks for sharing!

We just posted it on Fb marketplace! For pricing out this project we went based on some similar stuff we've sold on fb in the past. Hope you had a great Christmas as well!!

Half lap top and bottom, and dato the shelf. Maybe add 30 min. Otherwise quick and simple.

Folks in the UAs must be easy to sell to. No way would you get that kind of price in the UK for work of that standard. Not a criticism, just an observation

The market you are in is 100% the biggest factor for price. We happen to be in a place where handmade things, even of this simplicity, are valued. People here are sick of buying from IKEA lol. We understand you may not get the same price where you are, but we like to let people know what we sell our builds for.
