Lovely idea. I use matte varnish to protect napkins. If i don't like some acrilyc paint I can wipe without problem. Thanks for the tips 😊❤

Yes...the matte medium protects them and allows you to "change" your mind. K

Wonderful video, great tips. I am wondering if you can explain about gesso. You use it as a base but also in yor paints. I'm hoping you can talk about gesso a bit. Thanks so much.

Great suggestion! I use gesso as a primer...is seals the paper and makes it stand up to whatever you put on it. It also makes it so the paints slide over it and don't soak into the paper . This saves you paint and makes blending easier. It also makes it possible to lift the paint off if you do something you don't like. I also use gesso during the painting to lighten the paint or as a substitute for white paint. I use it interchangeably with white paint. My gesso is thinner than my white paint so it thins the paint a bit. I buy economy brand from art store or buy in large amount so gesso is cheaper than the white paint. sometimes I use it simply because it's closer at hand. K

Loved these. I ordered through your link, but just realized my wood does not have rounded corners. Do you know the brand you ordered? I think the rounded corners will be best. Thanks for a great tutorial!

Unfortunately I don’t know brand or if it’s even available. Do a bit of snooping and searching in Amazon and see. Hopefully you will find them. Fingers crossed

I’ve never heard anyone pronounce the word “iron” like you do, never ever….but when I thought about it, you are saying it correctly (phonetically) so until now it seems I’ve never heard anyone say that word correctly haha
