Turn Off Ford Double Honk

The double honk pisses off my neighbors when i come home from work at 3:30am and have to move a car from the driveway to park my edge.. i need to find someone that can disable this

I have a bronco that does the double honk sporadically when I open the door to leave the car. I refuse to believe that Ford built in a double honk before exiting the cabin option. In what world is that beneficial? This is the first thing I've ever scene that actually matches my issue. Im assuming you cant disable without being able to reprogram the bcm?

There’s nothing in the menu that will let you turn it off. It should be able to be shut off with Forscan in the same way this vehicle was.

The double horn honk occurs when you exit a running vehicle and close the door...

Will disabling double horn also allow you to close the doors by walking away or will it just allow you to get out without the double honk but still keep the car "running"?

How are you connecting to the system from the laptop? Is there a way to do it that goes around having to connect a laptop?

This made my day! Do you have a fix for the 2019 F350 remote start run 2x then it requires a drive cycle? Sometimes we need the extended run time up here 🥶

I have not tried this but read that in some cases you can unlock/lock doors after the first two to get a third, forth start.

Our Ford does this even when we are just getting out of the car and haven't locked it yet. Are you saying you need a laptop to do this - it's not in the settings?

Just getting out of the car with the key / fob while the cars on will cause the double honk. There is no way to turn it off in the cars settings.

Yes...the double horn honk should happen if you exit a running vehicle and close the door...no door locking required to get the beep beep...

Yes. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it in the standard configuration menu in Forscan now, but if not it can be done with as-built configuration forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3218
