This... Is amazing. It feels like I'm watching something someone made for one person specifically, like being let inside a tight-knit friend group, if only for a moment. It has so many feelings attached to it, the characters, while clearly a fiction of their own kind, have so much life and care put into them, not only by the content creator but by the girl as well. She's just along for the ride, despite, from my judgement, being the creator of the realm. She's surprised often, and is generally being messed with and is having fun. *And everyone cares for her.* She has a friend group, while not quite real, is better than most of us have. She cares for them too, because you don't end up with such distinct and lively imaginary friends without a lot of emotion involved. And yet, it is not enough. She is happy in the moment, but that happiness is fast to flee when the moment's gone. I'm not even going to talk about how fucking grim the real world is, how it is practically grayscale compared to the dreamscape. She has *created* her own life, her own world. It makes her happy, and yet... How long can she keep it up for? (Edit: Another commenter has made me realise the impact this can have on people, so here's a piece of advice to those who envy her. Life is a matter of luck. Every second, millions of coins are flipped. And, if your life is bad enough that you'd rather live in a world like hers than bother with real life, keep in mind that only one of those million coin flips hitting you in your favor can change your life. You can increase your odds by interacting with people more, increase your the size of your plate to collect more coins. I had a friend of mine meet their significant other, who changed their life, on a goddamn youtube comment of all things, do not underestimate the butterfly affect, but also do not lose sight of truth chasing luck. Be careful, be objective, be logical. Have a good day.)

Yes, but Sunny locked himself in wonderworld cuz he have a huge guilty feeling, but according to the video it seems like this girl has some kind of sick or disability, that kept her from society and she just fall in her world, I mean its a very interesting detail that provides us a message, that she might doesnt have a choice or smth that can stop her, particularly Sunny, of course he had a huge trauma, but nobody and nothing made him to do that he done. So, is that really the same thing? IMHO and sorry for bad english

0:15 such a weirdly cool detail is that our main character has her left eye closed when she first arrives, and in the next shot she now has an eyepatch, showing how her eye for some reason got damaged and stopped working when she arrived, and they quickly patch it up for her.

Theory: all of the OCs were human beings, then the two evil looking guys in cloaks dragged all of them into this seemingly wonderland reality. The thing is, is that I think the two people in cloaks are forced by someone of higher ranking to capture these people, which is why one of them looks at the world with guilt at the end. Not sure about the card that was left behind though 🤔

I actually really wanted to use a similar idea for my second setting when I was writing it a few years ago, because I felt like the first one just set too much boundaries for me and I did not feel like I put all of my creative out... But then I just said "Screw it, I don't want to go with a boring realism :D" and then I started adding more colourful characters into my first setting and it became much more cozy and rememberable. I am still thinking about the "dream world", and I basically pulled a reverse and now it is the dull one with a lot of darker colours!

...I've had a fantasy like this in the past, and I think that I get the shadowy cloaked figure, watching everyone live their dream/perfect/ideal/I can't find the word life. It pains him to look at this character forget their old life and instead prefer the bliss of this one, especially because... It's almost like looking at someone in heaven, a child released from life into a bliss that, terribly unfortunate, was a bad one. Because life is a gift, and to reject it is sad, to reject life means that yours was torture.

This really speaks to me and now DRAMATIC BACKSTORY TIME! I have autism, but I grew up like any other kid in rural New England, went to a school in the area where I had two best friends, who I was very close with for a long time. Until one of them though it would be a groovy idea to betray me and become one of the school's most notorious bully, and the other one drifted away over time. So throughout high school I pretty much had no friends, no one wanted to be seen with me, everyone avoided me like the plague, calling my disability "Stupid Syndrome". So I made a decision. I made my own world, (kind of like Final Fantasy) where I could be a hero all I want, and always fantasize about me being a character in a RPG world. Then came the OCs. I created a few original characters that would join me on many adventures, including a beautiful blonde girl, which was made specifically made as a love interest for me. Thus I created the perfect world I can only dream of. I created a fantasy world filled with colors, adventure, and mystery, where I was a hero who had friends who each had different personalities, people who I all cared about and vise versa. A place I call, "Shining Time" a name that is a nod to TTTE. This world was a place where I can escape reality for a bit. I would (and still do) write stories about these characters. Funnily enough the main Villain was similar to the multicolored shady figure we see in the video. I still write small stores about these characters to this day, and got some praise from my Writing classes. However is was clear that I had to face reality head first and face my troubles head on, but it all paid off, I managed to accept reality as it is while still writing these tales as a fun activity I do every now and then.

This animation on top of this song has soo many possible interperrtations and ideas for stories, character, plot setting and more. Its really something incomparable to many pieces of art and a testament to the power of animation I'd say. Being able to give life to things that one would otherwise assume couldn't be given life (Which is very ironic considering what 'animation' can mean in other contexts)

Theorys going in order of how the video plays 1: she wasn't originally dreaming this much but it quickly became an out of control kind of addiction 2: this world was definetly made to hide from her reality in her dreams 3: First opinion on the friends she made up, they're actions are based off of 1 trait as she might find people to complicated and people from tv shows or games easier to understand 4: THAT SHADOW FIGURE OMG ok so that could be 1: someone hoping she wakes up 2: a shadow of what she hopes to be her furture when she wakes up 5: "everybody, comlicated" I find social interactions and uderstanding people hard so this might be her trying to catagorize people outside of her life into neat catagories so she can understand them, she has herslef in 1 color aswell because this is how life is to her because of the (fake) world around her she tries to be like that aswell 6: her sitting in the hospital at the night, she might be in the hospital from forgetting to nourish herself/cleaning because she "already did it" in her fake world 7: her hospital ID card, it might be a sign that shes close to waking up or someone outside trying to wake her up and something intruding her dream to remind her I couald go into this but I don't want to :D 8: Don't forget on the card, she doesn't see herself when she looks in the mirror because of how much time spent not looking at herself, trust me when I say this because its happening to me😎 9: the figure is standing into a tunnel that should lead to life but instead takes her back to her fake world which might mean she f***ing dies while in there trying to hide from her problems Now lets clear up some things! Since I found this while looking for the song I've watched it at least 5 times. As much as I want to belive this place to be the paradise it is I know for a fact that whatever that place is is just an "other world". As some guy in college who hasn't been so much as physically contatected with someone since (I've just now realized its been over 4 years and I'm now really considering this world's offer) September in 2019 as much as I'd love to jump at this offer, I know 1 of 2 things will happen: 1. its a fate worse than death in the end 2. The world shapes you into the mental version of you as in how your mind sees yourself which it turns out if someone is lonely for too long it becomes a struggle to even remotely see ones self as human and all I know is that whatever's coming out the other end of the portal is going to look less like animator's oc's and more like some cross between a biblically accurate angel and the embodiment of Junji Ito's art style (and for some reason a top hat). Alright, I have once again gotten too tired and commented stuff involving my crippling loneliness and me questioning the validity of my own humanity and wondering whether or not that's a symptom of something and knowing for absolute certainty that I'd never openly admit to it because I have no idea how to actually put how I feel into words and end up sounding like an edgy teenager so now I'm just shouting into the void that is the internet here and if this comment somehow gets traction on here I'm going to need to find out how to deal with this outside of doing this. If this here is the case and someone knows the name whatever could be going on please say so and if not, any tips on how to word the above in a way that doesn't sound like an edgy teenager are welcomed also for some of those old Nick sitcoms where some of the teens were adults did they just find really tall people to play their parents? if not why didn't they? That would've been genious
