Actually logically speaking, Phoenix should’ve easily been able to overpower Von Karma. Like even if he trained in combat, he’s still an old man. Like you’d need to have dedicated your life to martial arts to be that old yet still be able to fight off someone in their 20s if I’m remembering Phoenix’s age at the time correctly. Like yeah, Phoenix at the definition of a fighter, but we’ve seen what he can tank.

Not necessarily. My grandpa is in his 70s and he's still extremely muscular and strong. Stronger than me. Von Karma is a big guy too, and unlike Wright he's got a weapon. Karma would easily win a fight against Wright.

And I imagine your grandpa worked out a lot, something Von Karma wouldn’t have the time for given how he never had a day off barring the time he needed to recover from a bullet wound. And the weapon he had was a taser, not something like a gun. Meaning had this actually gone down as a real fight, Wright absolutely would’ve won.

Unless Phoenix is strong enough to get a one punch knockout on Karma, Karma is still gonna get a hit off with his tazer and KO Wright. Plus, given Karma's obsession with perfection, his tall and muscular frame and everything else, and the fact that's he's probably only in his 50s, 60s max, you'd think that he'd have trained enough and that his physiology would still be in good strength. He wouldn't neglect himself physically, at the very least.
