For resin, I was always told that to REALLY make sure it’s mixed, it’s also a good idea to transfer it to another cup, mix again, transfer back, mix again and do that a couple of times back and forth. I LOVE the way this came out! Especially that super cute but absurdly neon waterfall. My favorite character is probably Kiki, because she’s me if I was able to fly. ❤️ (in my heart, I still soar anyway.) I even have a black cat and a red-headed hunky!

For the wire you could have uses it to support your larger pieces like the stone arch. From my experience, liquid sculpy does not hold together very well so I like to use wire to connect pieces. (You can and probably should add wire inside of thinner or more delicate aspects of the model)

TIP: if you don't have resin or don't know how to use it, if you just need it for a small area you can use hot glue! It doesn't look as good, but it's a good substitute! You can even buy colored glue sticks so that's cool!

In my opinion using the liquid Sculpy was NOT cheating. ;) I love the Spirited Away Movie. (that was my introduction to Studio Gibli).... I've loved all the other ones I've seen too... but that one's my favourite. I'm not sure which is my favourite character though. Totoro is pretty adorable. =) And I love the soot spirits, (I can't remember what they are called). I think you did GREAT! I love your project. =)

my favorite ghibli movie will always be Castle in the Sky. Its so dreamy and dramatic.. I've loved the characters and the story ever since I first saw it and I take lots of inspiration from it! As for favorite character, it would have to be Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle. I've always loved her design and her story arc, and her journey of self-love helped me find my own

Howl's Moving Castle is my favorite movie of all time and it holds such a special place in my heart. It makes me feel these magical feelings and everything about it is amazing. *Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa of The Valley of The WInd are my favorites. I love all of Ghiblis films, but these two are different from Miyazakis other films. The are more for older audiences, Especially the Manga for Nausicaa. Their meanings are deeper, and i feel they reflect human nature and our relationship with not just the earth but each other. No matter how cruel and ugly it can be.*
