For my 28th birthday I wish for you all to keep me accountable on this channel lol.
Video Essay:
Dearest viewer. I know what’s you’re thinking ashley we have been here before. 12 months ago to the date exactly. A girl with her simple cake and candles in a black dress- Who once left and promised you a grandiose return has failed you. Well i sist here today with another simple a black top- but alas let us start from the beginning shall we. Ok too far laugh.
Today i am 28. What is 28, these set of tow numbers that have always held such high expectation since i can remember. 28 is having a job, scratch that 28 is having a career, 28 is a house a life . I definitely have a life. As i sit here on the plane back from New York city i think its ok nothing turned out the way u expected and despite my failed promises ive come into this new chapter motivated and hopeful. -last year as i looked upon what i thought to be my doom at the prospects of the 28 i let my lows be my downfalls, quite literally letting myself rot away. That girl in the black dress with her promises and cake soon forgotten.
So let this 28 be the marker, 28 is spending wayyyy too much on stationery that I’ll probably be too afraid to use. 28 is is making custom charm necklaces at Chelsea market. It’s returning to reading. 28 Being social meeting up with dear friends. and most importantly 28 is booking that unexpected ticket to see THe vampire. Ok not areal vampire but look at him.
Once again I’m just me but a little older ill see y’all soon sincerely Ashley.

this was soooo lovely, as always! happiest birthday!! I hope 28 will be a fantastic year for you. I think it’s mostly because it was my golden year, but I think of 28 as a lovely, solid age, maybe because it’s so… round? I’m not even making sense anymore lol anyway, I hope for lots of good food and cute photo booth pics (that section was so cute!) and stationery for you! (are you going to stationeryfest this summer?
